GRE Piping Systems

Moving water. Building futures.

Overview

Low-pressure GRE piping systems are designed for utility services and industrial fluid transmission, offering corrosion resistance, smooth hydraulic performance, and long service life. These pipelines are widely used in firewater systems, cooling water networks, and plant utility services where reliability and minimal maintenance are required.

Manufactured using glass fiber reinforced epoxy composite construction, GRE pipes provide an efficient alternative to steel pipelines in corrosive service environments.

Applications

  • Firewater systems
  • Cooling water networks
  • Industrial process utilities

Size & Operating Range

  • Nominal Diameter: DN 25 – DN 1500 (1” – 120”)
  • Pressure Classes: PN 6 – PN 50
  • Temperature Range: -10°C to +95°C
  • Suitable for buried or above-ground installations

Jointing Systems

  • Adhesive bonded bell & spigot joints
  • Butt & wrap laminated joints (field laminated)
  • Flanged joints for valves and equipment connections
  • Rubber seal lock joints

Material & Construction

  • Glass fiber reinforced epoxy composite
  • Filament-wound construction with controlled fiber orientation
  • Corrosion barrier liner layer
  • Structural laminate layer for hoop strength
  • Optional fire-retardant or UV-resistant outer layer

Material & Construction

  • Immune to rust, scaling, and MIC (microbiologically induced corrosion)
  • Lightweight construction reduces installation cost
  • Long service life (25–50 years)
  • Excellent hydraulic performance (Hazen-Williams C ≈ 150)
  • Minimal maintenance compared with steel or ductile iron
